Metal 2 The Masses FINAL!

SOMEHOW – despite my intro music hitting at 20:15 at York Hall in Bethnal Green – I made it to Reading in time to play Gay Bum’s guest slot at the final of Bloodstock’s Metal 2 The Masses.

I didn’t have time to get changed.

I didn’t even have time to catch my breath.

I did, however, have time to drink a bottle of wine on the train, which I only caught by sprinting across London in full lucha attire (apart from the mask. I didn’t want to get shot on the tube for being alternative.)

And thank the Gods that I made it, because it was an awesome night! The bands were on form – crushing it – and there were so many familiar faces that I hardly had a chance to stop hugging people the entire time I was there.

As a warm-up for Leefest at the end of July, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

UP THE BUM!

About the Author
Ed Gamester is a silly man who lives in the United Kingdom. He is the harbinger of Ghost Squad, singer of Gay Bum and author of A Rum Run Awry. He fights, kills and dies for TV and films, and gallivants around the place wrestling, drinking and lifting things for glory and profit. Where Ed treads, there stamp the boots of the Guild. Ed does not wear glasses, but feels this photograph makes him look more intelligent and artistically talented than he is. Feel free to contact him: he is disappointingly affable.
