Downloadmas Comes Early!
This year, we have set off for Download even earlier than usual!
We normally leave at about 05:00 from High Wycombe. This year, we’re actually going up the night before and staying over, to ensure we can pitch our entire empire of tents: Rumhold, with the great tent Rumhalla at its cetnre.
I picked up my mighty friend, Ryan, from Heathrow airport this evening: the man from the Song of Fire and Ice Cream. He had flown in from AUCKLAND, exactly as I had done the year before! It’s a grueling challenge, but one he was more than capable of enduring.
With Ryan in the passenger seat, Vikki driving and Will and me in the back, it has been a cosy ride…especially once we added five tents, four bags and all our food and booze for the week.
