A Hat Full of Skyfall
Exactly 12 hours after we leave London, we arrive in Singapore. The intermittent time has been a blur of free sandwiches and watching hundred-million dollar movies on a faded 10 inch LCD display, through one side of my headphones.
In an attempt to stave off sleep until it’s Australian bedtime (the early afternoon in the UK), I have consumed a gallon of coffee and am watching my way through the entertainment guide. Skyfall, Seven Psychopaths, two episodes of The Office, a documentary about a lady base-jumping in Africa, right up until the interesting part of Bernie – list goes on.
My head aches. Momentarily, I wonder what this madness is doing to my energy and hydration levels, pre-Adventurethon. Then I remember the rules. Specifically, rules 4 and 8: regret nothing and, above all else, be Strong.
There is one thing on my mind, however; have I left enough entertainment for the return journey?
Oh wait…there is no return journey.
Not yet, anyway. I’m not even halfway there yet!
