Second Squat for 6 Months

I have not been squatting as I should. In fact, since I went travelling in March I may have only done two squat sessions…

So it was that, after a mighty Volbeat gig the night before, I awoke in the same house as fellow Guildsman Simon Lowe and thus resolved to lift mightily after a fine breakfast of Sloppy Joes.

The best local gym is Marvel Gym in High Wycombe, so that’s where we headed. There I performed something along the lines of the following:

Squat: 60kg x 10 x 3; 100kg x 10 x 3; 120kg x 3
Leg Press: 120kg x 15; 160kg x 15; 200kg x 15; 240kg x 10 x 3
Leg Extensions: 25kg x 25 x 3
Leg Curls: 25kg x 50; 40kg x 10 x 2

Lots of ab work, including leg raises and dragon flags

Not a strong session by a long way, but not bad for months and months and months and months and months without any practise.
